Alton RFC assisted Friends of Binsted School with their fund raising festival at Country Markets, Kingsley on Saturday 11th June by providing an opportunity for the 1500 estimated visitors to try Touch Rugby. 

The Fest in the Field event was organised by "Friends of Binsted School" in association with "The Breeze" to raise funds to provide a much needed additional classroom. The event included live music from "Lemar", many local bands and included a choir competition for local schools.

The SportsZone provided an opportunity to participate in Football, Golf, Rugby and Tennis. Alton Rugby Club provided the opportunity for hundreds of local people to try Touch Rugby and other related activities.

Friends of Binsted School organised a superb festival, which will hopefully be repeated next year.
