The sun has finally broken through the grey clouds, the flowers are starting to burst forth, leaves are budding on the trees, lambs are gambolling in the fields, birds singing in the morning, the butterfly is on the wing. Well almost! Spring is on the way and that can only mean one thing - another end-of-season Red Bellies Reunion Lunch at Alton Rugby Club. 

This is the fifth year and the lunch has gone from strength to strength. This year the first team are playing really well and have now won their league and promotion to the London Leagues with a game in hand. Not to be out done, our second team have also won their league with a game in hand. Both teams play their last league games of the season at Anstey Park following the lunch. Hence with favourable weather, the last league games of the season should be a ball. So why not attend the lunch, meet up with old friends and watch both league winners play in their final games of the season.

As usual, ex and present members, L.V.P.s, sponsors, supporters and anyone else who cares to come are invited and of course the invitation extends to wives, girlfriends, family members, Uncle Tom Cobbly and all.

There will be a sumptuous four-course meal cooked by Rita Legg with wine provided on the tables.

The date is SATURDAY APRIL 10th

The lunch will cost £15 per head.

Food will be served at 13.00.

If you wish to attend and have not yet contacted Mary Bantick, the organiser, please do so at the earliest opportunity. The clubhouse has a limited capacity and the club may well not be able to accommodate all who wish to join the lunch.
