The Ladies' side was reformed only last season after being forced to disband three years ago. Now, having played a season of friendlies, they have made a return to league rugby and are playing in RFUW South East East Division 4.

Things did not start as planned as Alton fell behind to an early Totties' score, but two tries apiece from from Polly Thomson, Claire Amiss and Rachael Shaw closed out a comfortable win.

Skipper Thomson also added three conversions to complete a satisfying debut for Alton.
