Congratulations to Cameron Wicks from our Alton Under 14's squad who was not only selected to play for Hampshire but also appointed as captain for this first Hampshire Under 14 fixture of the season.

Hampshire Under 14s kicked off their 2009 rugby campaign with a couple of very good games but ultimately ended in defeat to Dorset and Wiltshire on Sunday at Basingstoke.

Despite Cameron Wicks, as Hampshire Captain and Number 8, making several strong runs, Dorset and Wilts took the first points of the game and went on to win. The final score being Hampshire County 12 - Dorset & Wiltshire County 27.

The Hampshire Under 14 'A' side went down 20 points to 15.
