Those of you who have visited Anstey Park this week will appreciate just how wet and boggy some areas of the park have now become.

With more rain forecast for next week, there is now a high possibility that due to poor ground conditions, Alton Town Council may well prohibit organised rugby activities in the park until conditions improve.

Following a discussion with Alton Town Council staff, we have agreed to postpone all planned coaching sessions at Anstey Park on Sunday 9 December.

Fixtures scheduled for Sunday will go ahead.

Hopefully, by reducing the inevitable damage to Anstey Park, this will enable all the planned home fixtures on 16th December to go ahead.

• Under 9 No coaching
• Under 10 No coaching
• Under 11 No coaching
• Under 12 No coaching
• Under 13 No coaching

Please understand that this decision is not taken lightly but hopefully will allow all planned home fixtures both this weekend and next to take place.
