Alton are throwing open their doors, dusting off the barbecue and hosting their annual rugby beanfest at Anstey Park this coming Sunday (27 April) with the annual Junior Sevens.

The event runs all day and will see hundreds of players, parents and supporters descend on Fortress Anstey for a day of great rugby entertainment and endeavour and, inevitably, a little bit of drama here and there.

All age-groups from U12 upwards will be taking part and clubs from as far afield as Chichester and Wasps will be there.

Alton's sides will be looking to improve still further on last year's achievements, a year in which every age-group reached a semi- or final.

The Sevens run all day from 10am and spectators are cordially invited.
