Touch Rugby is a Winner for the Under 15's.

A dangerous, frozen pitch meant that full contact would not be an option for this friendly match and, with the visitors bringing their full complement of 30 players, any sort of game was going to be better than nothing.

Alton and Bracknell played a mass 18-a-side touch rugby game to enable both squads to have some sort of runout after several weeks of inactivity for both clubs.

With rugby-league style offsides and restarts, the ball was kept alive for the whole game, enabling everyone to raise their body temperature and with an enthusiastic crowd watching (bolstered by  numbers from the cancelled Under-16 and Under-13 matches) something positive came from what would otherwise have been a wasted morning.
