Having lost earlier this season 64 - 0 it was with some trepidation that Alton took to the field.

Alton however produced their best performance of the season with forwards Rob Chamberlain, Oli Harrison, Nick Hughes, Lewis Lofting and James Kinnell all playing and tackling well.

In the backs Seb Clark, Josh Samways and Charlie Wear, who was playing his first game for the club, also put in good all-round performances. However it was hooker, Hughes who scored Alton's try. I'm sure that these boys did the team proud, because although I wasn't playing the comments from the coaches seemed positive. Well done.
