A good tough test for the Alton lads.

Havant always have proved to be difficult opposition for this age group and their summer recruiting campaign has improved their squad.

So Alton were under no illusions when they took to the field. Havant exploited Alton’s apprehension and ran in lots of tries in the first half.

However in the second half  Alton realised that by pressurizing their attack the Havant players started to make a few mistakes  and we got some points on the board with strong runs from Max Rhodes and a good try from Olly.

But our best efforts were to late in the match which we lost 53-17.
