TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS!

Alton take home the cup and medals after winning all 4 games. All 22 squad players played their part in an excellent tournament win. A big special mention to James Forrest, Jack Messenger and Ben Coleman for agreeing to play for Wallingford who had turned up short of players. James and Jack both scored for Wallingford and all three played excellently, For a mighty effort at outside centre and scrum half, James was voted by coach David Bugler as Alton's Player of the Tournament.

It was a fantastic tournament by all players, and a fantastic defensive effort once we had gone ahead against runners up, Maidenhead A, who dominated most of the territory and possession. Kieran Beardsall and Ralph Andrews made awesome try-saving tackles, Doug Lowe was back to his imperious best as destroyer of the opposition moves. Fonzy enjoyed the kiddies' swings too ...!
