Teamwork and discipline!

Reading were much improved on last season's showing, with great individual talent, but first up tackling was the key downside of a team that competed well at set play and ruck but were ultimately undone by Alton's greater cohesion and more structured back play. Shane Thomas showed some fine finishing from right wing, racking up a hat-trick of tries. Plenty in the Dev squad put their hands up for selection at next week's League fixture, well done boys, first class display. Alison Beardsall now £20 in the hole with son Kieran also bagging an excellent #8's try from the back of the line out.
