On a beautiful autumnal morning the excited Under 7 squad were all fired up for their first tournament of the season.

Their first match was against the Trojan Tigers and after a pre-match pow wow Alton had a fantastic win of 7–1.

Their second match was against New Milton B and with a half time team talk with Trev they won 4–3. The following match was against Basingstoke and with Robin on the sideline giving support and advice, they won 4–2.

As they won each game they made it through to the cup final where they lost 4 – 1, but Alton were not feeling defeated since they finished runners-up. With the sound of applause ringing in their ears they stood on the steps of the clubhouse with beaming smiles and medals hanging.

Well done Under 7’s you are complete stars, all the boys really bonded on the day, the shaking of hands and hip hip hoorays for the other team – true young gents. Here's to a great 09/10 season.
