The first XV play in London League Division Three South West following a very creditable 6th place finish last season, and having won promotion from Hampshire League One as Champions in season 2009-10.

This Summer the club appointed a new head coach, Alun Rise, formerly of Redingensians and London Welsh. Alun's impact at pre-season training has been both immediate and positive. Once again Alton aim to compete strongly in the London Leagues.

New player recruitment is the current priority, strength in depth will be required for a season with so many League and Cup fixtures. We welcome players of all ages and skill levels.

Training

Senior Men’s training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 19:15 – 21:00 at our training ground at Anstey Park, Alton. Team selections for the coming weekend’s fixtures are generally done on a Tuesday after the session.
