Where there’s a 1st XV there’s a 2nd XV development squad right behind them pushing players through when needed and ensuring that competition for places is kept high. In fact, we don’t usually refer to the teams in terms of 1st or 2nd XV but merely ‘the squad’.

The 2nd XV now play in Hampshire Junior Merit Table Division One having won Division Two last season following several successful seasons in that league.

Training

Senior Men’s training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 19:15 – 21:00 at our training ground at Anstey Park, Alton. Team selections for the coming weekend’s fixtures are generally done on a Tuesday after the session.
