Hi all,

Dropbox link to photos from today’s game has been sent to your email addresses. Amazing effort from the boys- what a great way to end the season! 

Fixtures: It’s coaching next Sunday Then 7s at Anstey Park on the following Sun (5th May). 

A small playing squad will be selected by Dai & the team but the rest of the boys will be needed on the day to help out (car parking marshals etc..). 

Please come along & support the event if you can. Timings TBA but car park marshals needed from 9am. 1st U13 game is at 12.20pm & tournament goes on until 1700-1800h. 

The annual club presentations will be on the 19th May followed by an end of season party at Anstey Park starting at 12 midday. All junior squads from U6-U16s are invited to come back to the clubhouse straight afterwards for hog roast, BBQ/ bar/ general frivolity! This event proved very popular last season & we’re hoping this year’s will be even more successful. 

The awards are in 3 sections. U6, 7 & 8s go first (approx 10-11am) then U9,10,11 & 12s (about 11am-12pm) then U13, 14, 15 & 16s from approx 12.15-1.30pm. Exact timings TBA by the club. 2 Hog roasts will be available- one will be ready to serve at 12 with the other hog serving around 2pm for the older age groups. There’ll also be a BBQ serving burgers & hot dogs. 

Please reply to the 2 separate teamer invites for presentation day asap so that arrangements can be made: 1) award presentations at Alton assembly rooms;  2) post presentation party at Anstey Park afterwards :)

Return of trophies: I have been handed 3 trophies but only 1 of them (thanks Guy!) is an U12 trophy…! Rowan, Ben & Jack: please would you hand trophies in to the club on Thursday or next Sunday (or contact Andy Gay or me to make other arrangements). Nick/Darren: I know you’ve mentioned dropping off trophies at the club; would you let me know when you do so you can be removed from my naughty list?
