1. EGO-MASSAGING!:
a massive pat on the back for surviving training last Thursday. The seniors & colts decided to do a board session in the clubhouse but 18 nutters from the U13s (15 players & 3 coaches) stayed until the bitter end. Well done everyone :)

A second huge pat on the back to all who played on Sunday- especially to Marcus, who put on the Alton jersey for the 1st time & had a storming game! Andy Gay was delighted at the brilliant state of the U13 Home changing room. I just have 1 drinks bottle (it was filled with what I hope was orange squash…) Eastleigh send an extremely complimentary email to the club- they thought our players, parents, coaches, the food etc was fantastic. Great job everyone!

2. TOUR: SHAPING UP NICELY...
I still need £50 deposits from 4/5 boys interested in going on the tour (6.04-12.04.2013) by Thursday's training session (at the very latest). I’ve booked accomodation at Trecco Bay & have paid a £700 deposit to secure the booking. As a heads-up, the rest of the accommodation cost of £1743 (which works out about £50 a head) will need to be paid by the middle of January. I’ll also need to book & pay for some of the activities asap. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to keep a space for your son on the tour without payment by Thursday’s cut-off. (Please also note that all  deposits are non- returnable).

3.KITCHEN DUTY this Sunday. It’s a busy one so please make yourselves available on the day to help out if you’re required. I’m going to try for the 4th time to do the water to wine fundraiser but I need to double-check with the club 1st. It should be a winner this Sunday with the christmas spirit overflowing at the club...

4. Home friendly (development) V Southampton this Sunday. There will be no selection for this game. Available= playing! Teamer message on the way

5. Lost waterproof top. Size Medium. Please have a thorough look through your son’s kit bag/ piles of clothes on bedroom floor for an un-named brand new waterproof training top. Unfortunately, Charlie left it behind a few weeks ago. It’s not in the "bag of shame" so it must be lurking somewhere!
As an incentive, there’s a mars bar & a coke at the clubhouse for the boy who finds it :)
