Well done lads for a very convincing performance against Farnborough last Sunday. It was great to see you run through your patterns and, very importantly, show such determination in defence.

Congratulations to Joe Gwyther who has been selected at 10 for Hampshire's match against Dorset&Wilts on February 21st. Also to Ed Simmons who will play on the wing for Hampshire A against Dorset&Wilts A on the same day. Ralph Andrews' time will surely come in later Hampshire games this season - stick at it Ralph, we have full confidence in you.

There's a bit of snow in the air, so wear plenty of layers at training on Thursday. Don't forget that showers are available after training. We will take a squad of 20 to Portsmouth on Sunday, it's essential that the team and bench alike turn up focused and ready to play.
