Welcome to the U15 squad pages

We warmly welcome new players to join a tight and growing bunch of lads who are now competing at the highest level in Hampshire. Several players have progressed through to the Elite Player Development Group run by Club Hampshire and London Irish and the coaching team seek to develop all players as a single squad to reach their potential both as individuals and as a team. We are also looking to add to the 3 players who played in the Hampshire squad last season.

In addition to 6 competitive league matches, the majority of our fixtures are friendlies where we seek to give players at all ability levels the chance to play, develop and enjoy themselves.

The squad is supported by a dedicated Team Manager and 4 RFU qualified coaches each with enhanced level Criminal Records Bureau checks, a brilliant group of parents and a club which values the development of boys as people as well as rugby players. The club also offers bacon butties and hot tea and coffee!

Training

We train on Thursdays 19:00 – 20:30, also on Sundays 10:00 – 12:00 when we have no fixtures. See the Fixtures and Results section to check whether we have a match.

As active tourists the squad has previously played in Jersey, France, Ireland and Wales and is currently organising a tour to Edinburgh, Scotland at Easter 2011. The final leg of our 6 Nations tours will be to Italy in 2012.
