Our congratulations go to Joe Gwyther and Ed Simmons for making the cut into the much reduced Hampshire U16 squad for this season. The Hampshire A squad has been cut to prepare this squad for the London divisional trials.

Oscar Jermyn, who was unable to attend the final trial through injury, will attend the next County training session but has yet to make the cut. We wish Oscar all the very best for that.

The squad selections have perhaps predictably been dominated by Winchester (6 players), Gosport and Portsmouth (4 players each.) These clubs remain our main competition for the Hampshire league title this season. Those who narrowly missed out in the final selection will certainly have some points to prove in the upcoming fixtures.
