Back in training on Thursday 5th January - see you all at 7pm. The following will be training with the Colts that evening - Charlie Hibbert, Joe Gwyther, Josh Smith, Adam Stoller, Ralph Andrews and Ed Simmons.

On Sunday 8th, KO at 1pm, the Colts have an U17 Hampshire Plate match versus Trojans and the above, with the exception of Joe Gwyther, will be considered for selection. Joe will be at the London and South East Divisional trial in St. Albans and we wish him all the best for that.

For the U16 squad on January 8th we have lined up an away fixture at Guildford. This will be a development match against Guildford B. Please arrive at Guildford RFC at 10:00 for 11:00am KO - showers and food will be laid on so please take advantage of that.

The following Sunday, 15th, we will make a strongest possible selection against Surrey 1 side Chobham. Both Chobham and us have League fixtures on 22nd so this will be an essential warm up. We had originally slotted in Tottonians on this date but Chobham should provide us with a sterner test. Let's ensure that we're firing on all cylinders when Portsmouth visit us for the League match on January 22.

If Joe is successful in the preliminary trial on 8th January he will miss the Portsmouth game and play in further Divisional trials held over the weekend of 21/22 January. Remember that we've already beaten Pompey this season without Joe, Pompey may also have one or two of their players at the Divisional trials as Ellis Rudder and Ross Miller have been selected for the preliminary trial.
