Well, that was some week! A record number at training last Thursday - everyone wanted to be in the team to play Winchester.

All the work we've done recently on tight defence paid off on Sunday with an incredible defensive effort to keep Winchester out in the final quarter. The huffed, they puffed but Fortress Anstey was true to its word and we held them out. We might even rue the missed penalty earlier in the game but a draw was a fair result, we certainly take it.

Hopefully numbers will be good again this Thursday at training. Invites to the Andover game have gone out, and we need responses back in order to pick a Development team to play. Hopefully we can rest as many as possible that started last Sunday and give full games to everyone who wasn't in the squad. Those who benched on Sunday will also get starts and a full outing.
