Today's session, bolstered by five U15 players, was very useful and enjoyable. My thanks to Dave Forrest for reffing and the U15s for taking the opportunity to train with us to mutual benefit. It was disappointing that more U16 players were not able to make it, but some of the reasons are perfectly understandable as you're busy with mocks in academic year 11.

Next Sunday's away match at Reading Abbey is a friendly so everyone who turns out will get game time, at least one half.

Further ahead

On Sunday 4th December we will select a strong team to play Windsor A at home. Please can everyone turn up as there will be another U15/U16 coached game on an adjacent pitch.

On Sunday 18th December we travel away to play Windsor's B team. Everyone has the chance of a full game in one or other of those games - it's up to you to make yourselves available.

Then we're on Christmas break until Thursday 5th January.
