Awesome win in the League match v Jersey on Sunday, a simply brilliant performance! We won our first ever League game v Jersey as U14s back in October 2009 and ended up beating Jersey in our final League game.

That was in fact the very last League fixture to be played in Hampshire for many, many years as the Youth Committee has decided to replace all Junior Leagues with Cup competitions for the foreseeable future. Well, at least we ended on a high.

No training on Thursday evening, lack of coach availability I'm afraid.

Next Sunday we have visiting opposition from Wimborne. We designate this as a Development match where selection will be prioritised for squad members who were not in the starting XV v Jersey. But if you turn up, you will play some part - it's our very last 15-a-side fixture as a squad, so please come along and make it a memorable one.

A squad of 12 will be announced for the Alton Junior 7's the week after.
