After the great success of our Rugby World Cup brekkies we step up a gear in the fundraising effort as we stumble into 2012 bleary eyed from the Xmas excesses!

Our thanks to Martin Andrews who has organised the bag packing and bucket shake at Sainsbury's on Saturday January 14th. Starting from 09:30 our lads (YOUR lad?) will be helping shoppers with their bag packing in order to to loosen a few coins.

You will also have seen the email about the imminent distribution of RFU Grand Draw tickets. We really hope that everyone will pull together and do their bit in this fundraising effort.

As far as the rugby goes - we kick off the New Year with two more away matches (yes, I know ... but at least they're not too far this time!) On Sunday 8th we have a Development match against Guildford B - details have already gone out on Teamer, so please respond with availability. On the same afternoon a few of our lads will be stepping up to play for the Colts in the U17 Plate match against Trojans at Anstey Park, KO 2:00pm.

The following week will be a 1st XV warm up against Surrey 1 side Chobham, we'll need to be firing on all cylinders ahead of our next League fixture at home (hooray!!) to Portsmouth on 22 January.
