"Four The Love of Rugby"

On Saturday 6th September, Alton RFC's U9's represented the club in the London Double Header Development Festival of Tag Rugby at Richmond College, London.

Our boys played three group matches and reached the amazing tally of 36 tries over the 3 games.  An incredible achievement due to great team playing and fantastic commitment by the boys.
 
After the tag festival, our boys went on to watch Four of the Aviva Premiership’s biggest clubs playing at Twickenham Stadium; London Irish vs Harlequins and Saracens vs Wasps. Not only that, but our successful U9's were then
selected to take part in a demonstration game on the Twickenham turf during the London Double Header in front of a crowd of 66,000 people and some very proud Alton parents. Such an amazing honour and priviledge!

It was the eleventh time that the London Double Header has been at the top of the Aviva Premiership roster, signalling the start of another action-packed season of domestic rugby.
